Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
National Philanthropy

The sisters of Alpha Epsilon Phi are actively involved in many philanthropic and community events. Nationally, AEPhi's philanthropy is the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Elizabeth was a sister of AEPhi and wife of actor Paul Glaser. She contracted the HIV virus through a blood transfusion in the 80's, which she then passed to her two children, Ariel and Jake. Shortly after she discovered that they were infected with HIV she began the foundation with two of her close friends to help raise awareness on how the virus affects children.

Our other national Philanthropy is a Jewish run organization called Sharsheret, which helps women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Through a variety of services, Sharsheret helps to connect sufferers of breast cancer with other women who are going through the same thing, helping with ideas to take care of children while fighting breast cancer and much more. If you're interested in making a donation to Sharsheret to help fight breast cancer, please click the button below and fill out Alpha Epsilon Phi, and Phi Theta chapter for our chapter name. Even a small donation can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer, so donate today! You can see more information about Sharsheret by visiting their website at: www.sharsheret.org.
